5. AI Processing and TikTok Content
AI-Powered Recommendations:
Viral.new uses artificial intelligence, including OpenAI's embedding models, to analyze and recommend TikTok videos. We process video metadata (titles, descriptions, hashtags) and your preferences to generate personalized recommendations. This processing helps match content to your interests based on semantic similarity, demographic factors, and engagement metrics.
TikTok Content:
Viral.new curates publicly available TikTok videos. We do not host, store, or own any TikTok content. All videos remain on TikTok's platform and are subject to TikTok's terms of service and privacy policy. We only store metadata about videos (such as video IDs, titles, view counts, and hashtags) for recommendation purposes.
Data Processors:
We use OpenAI as a data processor for generating embeddings. OpenAI processes video metadata according to their data processing terms and does not retain data beyond what is necessary for processing. For more information, see OpenAI's privacy policy.
